Reason for highlighting

The stained glass in six of the windows in the church are the substantial remains of the original church glazing scheme dating from about 1450-1480. The glass is of national significance. The medieval glass was skilfully conserved and restored by the prominent 19th century stained glass company of Clayton & Bell in 1879, who also made one window for the church in a sympathetic style.

Beautiful and largely complete stained glass. Typical of the region, this is an opportunity to see magnificent stained glass in a really delightful off the beaten track medieval church.
