Scheme of three east windowsArtist, maker and date
Designed and made by Mark Angus at his studio in Graz, Austria, 2013Reason for highlighting
Inspiring windows from the second part of Mark Angus’ career, that tell a strong story, within the non-figurative style required by the church.
The first panel with the words ‘and God said’ deals with the Creation out of the void. The middle panel has the words ‘He is Risen’ and shows the empty tomb, with Calvary behind and a journey. The final panel with the words ‘Be filled’ repeated three times and the Holy Spirit descending as a Dove references baptism.
