In contrast to the above are two contemporary windows by Tom Denny, 2002, in the Chapel of Saints Catherine and John the Baptist. A fine fusion of medieval fabric and contemporary glass, that repays careful study in order to appreciate the many fine details, after initially enjoying the impact of the rich tapestry of colours. There is an interesting newspaper article on the windows on Tom Denny’s website at Abbey’s stained glass renaissance.
