Roy Albutt

Roy Albutt is an expert in the stained glass artists associated with Birmingham School of Art and the stained glass of Worcestershire.  After retiring as a head teacher he returned to academia to study for a BA(Hons) in History of Art and Architecture at Manchester University, followed by a research degree into the stained glass work of A. J. Davies of the Bromsgrove Guild. The subsequent monograph on Davies has been followed by further books on A. E. Lemmon, the stained glass makers of Birmingham School of Art, and the stained glass windows of Bromsgrove and Redditch.
