George Farmiloe & Sons of West Smithfield was founded by George Farmiloe in 1823. During the company’s heyday in the first half of the twentieth century, the firm was supplying a variety of materials to the building trade, including paint, brass work and sanitary ware, as well as lead and glass. They are known to have produced a small number of stained glass church windows between 1895 and 1938 along with simpler designs for domestic and commercial properties.
