Pippa Blackall (b.1949) was taught by Francis Spear (1902-79). Through his charismatic teaching and support, together with an award from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass, she developed the confidence to set out as a freelance artist. That career now spans more than 30 years.  Her work is mainly found in East Anglia.
