Rona Helen Moody (b.1954) studied at Edinburgh University before spending a year training with Lawrence Lee (1977-8) and then with the restoration team at Salisbury Cathedral (1978-9). She returned to Scotland in 1979 before moving south to Derbyshire in 1987, each time principally as a community arts worker with some stained glass work and teaching. She set up a full time studio in Derbyshire in 2000.
