Danny Lane (b.1955) is an American born artist, known for his glass and steel sculptures. He came to England to study with the great stained-glass artist Patrick Reyntiens in 1975, and followed this with a fine art course at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, where he was particularly influenced by the British painter, Cecil Collins. He has since developed a worldwide reputation for his  extraordinary sculpture and furniture, which challenge the boundaries of Art and Design.
