George William Ostrehan (1868-1903) was a painter and stained glass artist. He was born in Andhra Pradesh, India and came to England with his family following his father’s death in 1880. He married fellow artist, Eva Whitcombe. The couple spent some time in Newlyn, Cornwall, where Ostrehan created windows for the Lady Chapel of St Peter’s church, before moving to London in 1893. In the remaining years of his life Ostrehan had six paintings hung in the RA.
