Lamond, Lorraine

Lorraine Lamond (b.1963) was born in Dumfries and studied at Glasgow School of Art, graduating with a first class honours degree in 1986. Following a postgraduate course in painting, she worked with John K Clark from 1988-92. Since then she has developed her love of stained glass in her own unique style of working which combines the traditional medieval techniques of etching and staining, with her own very contemporary and painterly vision, which builds upon her strong sense of context, composition and form.
