Strachan, Alexander

Alexander Strachan (1878-1954) was the younger brother of Douglas Strachan, with whom he established the stained glass section of the Design Department at Edinburgh College of Art. He was a fine teacher and artist, and remained at the ECA after his brother left due to pressure of work.
